Crowds surged through the store as they battled to purchase one of the Polaroid 40inch HD TVs which is now out of ... http://dailym.ai/...
I picked a picture for this diary that has nothing to do with my subject except one thing:
fighting.
Every day on my personal e-mail account, I receive five-ten e-mails from fellow writers on
The DK. None is directed to me but appear directed towards each other or management.
Why I see them is a mystery to me. They normally come from a few writers. I usually delete the messages and forget about them. Lately, however, the e-mails come with words like cxxt, or fuxx, etc.
I have been writing nearly two years here. The DK is a sacred place because it's a paper that allows like-minded people to come together to try and fight greed, apathy, racism,
stupidity, and the Republican party.
Writers should direct anger towards everything I just said. I have been corrected many times and educated a thousand times. I feel like I've received an education on being
A better progressive and perhaps a better writer. I remember being called a fraud,
and other things which I have long forgotten.
My humble suggestion towards the writers who write these passionate but vulgar e-mails is to save the passion towards the real enemy: Republicans. Agree to disagree
With a fellow writer or don't read them. I always hope at least one reader might take
A moment to read my thoughts. I'm Bipolar and do have medical issues, but I don't think I've used vulgarity to tell someone I disagree with them.
I'm sure management follows diaries written here to be sure we fit the guidelines we
All must follow. I once used a headline expressing my anger towards a washed up
Rock star. I was told to change the title, and I did. I don't believe in silly arguments.
Listen to me when I tell you life is short and really can end anytime. If a large group
of people agree with each other on important issues, other issues aren't worth the time
and effort.
Serious issues are in front of us, let's concentrate on those and not each other.
Not everyone thinks the way you think, knows the things you know, believes
the things you believe, nor acts the way you would act. Remember this and you will go a long way in getting along with people.”

be happy but I still have several.
